    The best thing this place has going for it is the venue. The outdoor patio was big, family friendly, & the live music was enjoyable. My family & I went to Pier 99 last Wednesday evening. It was not even half full, but it took an hour and 20 minutes for us to get our food once we ordered. Ridiculous! The server was nice & I was thankful that the live music kept my 1 year old entertained, but when we finally got our food it was cold & mediocre at best. I understand it's hard to keep a large patio clean, but there was also trash everywhere. I asked to speak to a manager & he just gave me excuses. He just said sorry & that they had new cooks & he was trying the best he could with what they had. Extremely poor customer service. I wasn't asking for a discount, but I've worked in the restaurant industry & know he could have at minimum comped an appetizer or drink. Very unfortunate because even though we liked the venue we will not go back or recommend it to anyone.

    My wife and I stumbled on Pier 99 about 7 years ago on a road trip through Texas. From then till now it's had fantastic food, excellent service and good live music. If you are near by do yourself a favor and stop in for fresh seafood!

    The scenery was amazing and the waitress was very friendly, but the seafood boil my wife ordered was half cooked. You could still see through the shrimp. Service was very slow but we enjoyed the view so much it didn't really matter. I would suggest to go when not in a rush and to buy the fried foods or double check your seafood. Might of just been just a random event with us.

    Food was amazing!! Our server, Jasmine, was awesome, friendly and great service! We’re from out of town so she made us feel right at home. Seafood boil was the best! Their house tartar is so delicious. My boyfriend hates tarter sauce and even he loved it! Raw oysters were so fresh, clean, and HUGE! Very yummy! Ask for Jasmine for awesome service!

    Once you get past the fishy smell inside the food is actually quite good. The Beach Bum Burger with Bacon is outstanding and almost too much to eat. Prices are good and they have great outdoor seating too. Definitely a good place to do lunch if you are going from the Lexington to the Aquarium!
